One of the best parts of Star Chart, in any case, is that it not only has plenty of astronomical information but also presents it in a beautiful way. You can click on any of these objects to see information like its brightness or distance from Earth. Star Chart also lets you focus on any astronomical object you want to view in more detail. You can see and learn about thousands of stars, constellations, planets, and even the moon. You can also point your device toward the sky and see the same part of the sky that's in front of you on the device. With Star Chart, you can move freely through the night sky by sliding your finger across the screen. Anyhow, I thought others might want to do the same things, so have uploaded a copy of the Star Map here for your use. I've added a layer for my own use to draw arrows showing my path through the BT Universe (wish I'd done that from the beginning - only started at Smithon - 82 jumps since then). It's in PNG format, which can be viewed or loaded into most graphic programs. I've wanted to have a record of the locations I've traveled to on the Star Map, and be able to more easily locate specific stars, so have made a screen capture of the Star Map included with BattleTech, and added to it the names of the stars/planets/worlds. ![]()
